Developing attention and listening in the classroom

Develop attention and listening skills in the classroom! This practical training introduces the evidence-based ‘Teaching Children How to Listen’ intervention by Jacqui Woodcock and Liz Spooner. You’ll learn how to engage children in fun, structured activities, model good listening behaviour, and create an environment that encourages active listening.

Focusing on the importance of listening, this course shows how strong listening skills support learning, social interactions, and emotional development—helping children follow instructions, participate in conversations, and build positive relationships, even in today’s distraction-filled world.

This session is for 1 staff member. The price includes lunch & refreshments, plus all materials needed to run the intervention in your setting.
