Independent Job Opportunities with WMISLT Ltd

Immediate Opportunities within mainstream primary schools!!!

WMISLT are consistently looking for cliniciains who are either working independently and who would like to increase their workload within a growing team of like minded clinicians; or therapists who are thinking about going independent and would like to make this jump into independent practise within a friendly and supportive network of other independent clinicians.

WMISLT have a number of new and exciting contracts for the start of the new year. We are looking for independent clinicians who would like to join the team to provide a service to a variety of educational settings, including primary and secondary mainstream schools and communication resource bases within mainstream settings in Birmingham.  At present we have the demand to fill contracts for Junior staff, therefore we are initially seeking clinicians who have completed their first year competencies or clinicians with up to 4 years experience within mainstream schools. This may also suit more experienced clinicians who may not necessarily have mainstream school experience and wishing to develop skills in this area

Ideally clinicians would have at least 2 years experience and be willing to work as an independent sub-contracted clinician. You would be required to register as self- employed and be ultimately responsible for your own independent caseload.  All clinicians must be registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and be a member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT). Therapists will need to complete a disclosure application with the DBS to work with WMISLT Ltd.
